For a Sleepless Night 1937
Kitawaki Noboru (1901-1951)
Work Descriptions
A ray of light pierces the gloomy blue darkness to reveal a mystical world. The light focuses on the henbit deadnettle, which stands out from the scene like a sacred icon. The anthropomorphic trees and stones appear to express surprise at the transformation of the green buds into pink flowers as the plant receives the light in the silence.
