Friday Roadshow has been connecting us with movies throughout the Showa, Heisei and Reiwa periods.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Allowing us to encounter great movies regardless of their year of release and worlds we had not previously known, this Japanese TV program started in 1985, the same year that Studio Ghibli opened its studio.
