It was a miraculous place where many talents intermingled, crossing their respective disciplines and creating exceptional works. Marie Laurencin and Coco Chanel, both born in 1883, represented women living in the post-war era of freedom.

This exhibition focuses on the achievements of these two women who lived where the boundaries between art and fashion crossed, also shedding light on their relationships with Paul Poiret, Jean Cocteau, Man Ray, Madeleine Vionnet and others who colored the era, and providing an overview of the art world in Paris between the two world wars, where modernity and classicism were exquisitely fused. The exhibition features a lineup of approximately 90 paintings, dresses, and documents from collections in Japan and abroad, including the Musée de l’Orangerie and the Musée Marie Laurencin.

["post-17482","exhibition","type-exhibition","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","en-US
["GET
