Wasn’t your “first movie” on Friday Roadshow? Friday Roadshow has been connecting us with movies throughout the Showa, Heisei and Reiwa periods.

Allowing us to encounter great movies regardless of their year of release and worlds we had not previously known, this Japanese TV program started in 1985, the same year that Studio Ghibli opened its studio. This exhibition takes 1985 as its starting point, tracing the history of Friday Roadshow and introducing the charm of Studio Ghibli works.
