Main Building: Central Hall
The Central Hall, formerly the Main Buildingʼs main large exhibition room with a ceiling height of 16m, is updated significantly with a grand staircase that connects it to the main entrance lobby on the first basement level. It forms a hub that connects three floors of exhibition rooms, from the basement to the 2nd floor – the North Wing, the South Wing, Higashiyama Cube, and the Japanese Garden. The ceiling is equipped for displaying artworks.
